As a neurodivergent parent of a twice-exceptional child, I bring a unique perspective to my work, combining my education in cognitive diversity, and my lived experience. My focus is supporting and uplifting neurodivergent families, just like mine.

I do this through informational content, digital courses, and direct support.

How Can I Help?

I provide neuro-affirming support and advocacy for twice-exceptional (2e) and neurodivergent children and their families. My services empower, educate, and advocate for neurodiversity, self-advocacy, self-regulation, and emotional intelligence.

My philosophy centers on the presumed competency of every child; and the belief that with the proper support and understanding every child can thrive.

Who Am I?

What does it say about me that the title above has me singing “Who Am I?” from Les Miz in full voice in my head?

I spent my teen years living and breathing musical theatre. Looking back now, I realize it saved me. Finding my band of weirdos early on showed me I had a place in the world, that I wasn’t broken, and I could build my community wherever I went.

Raising my 2e child has meant a shift in my family’s mindset and expectations. Of all the supports and strategies we tried over the years, this shift in mindset was the single most impactful change for my child and it has made a world of difference for her.

In 2023, I earned my M.Ed in Cognitive Diversity in Education and a Certificate in Twice-Exceptional Education at Bridges Graduate School. During my studies, I mastered the knowledge and skills needed to understand, support, and advocate for individuals with diverse cognitive profiles. I have also presented on topics including "The Effects of Student-Led Strength-Based Talent Development on Student Engagement" and "Inclusive Design for Neurodiverse Audiences."
